CAPABILITIES AND PARTNERING |
To accomplish its goals, Sandia's research in Solid State Lighting draws upon state-of-the-art semiconductor materials and fabrication capabilities:
· Sandia's Center for Compound Semiconductor Science and Technology
· Sandia's Microelectronics Development Laboratory
Together, these capabilities enable advanced R & D in the entire range of compound and silicon-based semiconductors, and the fabrication of discrete and integrated electronic, optoelectronic, and micro electromechanical devices. Sandia also draws upon synergies with other program areas and core science and technology capabilities, including:
· Sandia's Center for Integrated Nanotechnology
· Sandia's Photovoltaics Systems Group
